BOAT RENTAL AGREEMENT
This Boat Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Winnipeg Jet Ski Rentals (“Owner”) and the undersigned renter (“Renter”) for the rental of watercraft and associated equipment under the terms and conditions set forth herein.

Security Deposit: $1,500.00 per watercraft (refundable, subject to conditions)
Full rental payment is due at the time of checkout.
Payment is accepted via Debit, Credit Card, Cash & E-transfer.
A $1,500.00 security deposit per watercraft is required and must be paid or authorized via a valid credit card before the rental period begins not including rental charges.
Renter authorizes Winnipeg Jet Ski Rentals to charge the card on file for the deposit and any additional charges, damages, or fees incurred per this agreement.
The deposit will be refunded after inspection if no damage is found and all terms are met.
Winnipeg Jet Ski Rentals reserves the right to inspect the watercraft for up to 30 days post-rental to assess hidden damage.
All damage repairs will be conducted exclusively by Owner's authorized mechanics. No third-party or renter-performed repairs are allowed.
Renter is fully liable for any damage or loss — even if costs exceed the deposit amount.
No food or shoes are allowed on the watercraft. Cleaning fees up to $500 will be charged if the watercraft is returned in unsatisfactory condition.
Cancellations or rental changes made with less than 10 days’ notice will result in no refund, and the full rental fee remains payable.
No-shows or late arrivals forfeit their reservation without refund.
Fuel charges are applied hourly depending on the watercraft type and engine use.
Renter is responsible for all fuel used during the rental period.
The watercraft is provided in good mechanical and physical condition.
A walkthrough inspection will be completed at checkout; photos may be taken by both parties.
Renter agrees to return the boat and all rented equipment (e.g., wakeboards, life vests, etc.) in the same condition.
Renter is responsible for the full replacement value of the watercraft and any rented equipment lost or stolen during the rental period.
Replacement costs may range from $300 to $100,000+, depending on the item(s).
The Renter named on this agreement is the only authorized operator of the watercraft unless explicitly approved by rental team member.
Renter must not operate or allow anyone to operate the watercraft under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Renter accepts full financial and legal liability for any incidents or injuries caused during the rental period.
Renter is responsible for all passengers and must ensure all persons engaging in water activities sign a Waiver and Release of Liability.
If the Renter does not possess a valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card, they must complete a Rental Boat Safety Checklist and carry it at all times.
The watercraft includes safety gear such as life jackets, horn, flashlight, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit. Lost or damaged items will be charged at $100 – $400 per item.
Renter must operate the watercraft in compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulations.
The watercraft must never exceed the posted maximum weight capacity including passengers and gear.
Renter must not engage in high-risk behavior or allow waves from rough waters or water sports to flood the boat.
In case of malfunction, Renter must notify Winnipeg Jet Ski Rentals immediately.
Repairs due to mechanical failure will be handled by Owner. If a technician is dispatched and finds no issue (e.g., user error), Renter will be charged for the service call.
Renter acknowledges the risks associated with boating and water sports, including bodily injury or death.
Renter agrees to:
Assume all risks associated with the use of the equipment.
Release and hold harmless Winnipeg Jet Ski Rentals, its owners, employees, and agents from all liability.
Indemnify Winnipeg Jet Ski Rentals against any claims, including legal fees, arising from Renter's use or mismanagement of the equipment.
Winnipeg Jet Ski Rentals reserves the right to revoke rental privileges due to unsafe weather, intoxication, or reckless behavior.
Renter agrees to pay all legal, collection, or court fees incurred by Owner to enforce this agreement.
Renter agrees to return all watercraft and equipment at the scheduled time and location.
Late returns may incur additional rental charges or penalties.
Renter authorizes Winnipeg Jet Ski Rentals to retain and charge the credit card on file for:
Damage exceeding the deposit
Additional rental time
Missing or damaged items
Fuel, cleaning, or late fees
Any incidentals incurred
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. No oral representations or modifications shall be binding unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
